I'm having issues with generating my dvd, with mplex reading the video
files created by mplayer.

So I went back and ran the commands one by one. These two commands work
fine.

mplayer -dumpfile out.m2v -dumpvideo a_delaware2008.mpeg
mplayer -dumpfile out.m2a -dumpaudio a_delaware2008.mpeg

The out.m2v and out.m2a get created and I can listen to the results using
mplayer.

Next using this command

mplex -f 8 -S 0 -M -o out.mpeg2 out.m2v out.m2a

INFO: [mplex] mplex version 1.8.0 (2.2.4 $Date: 2005/08/28 17:50:54 $)
**ERROR: [mplex] File out.m2v unrecogniseable!
INFO: [mplex] File out.m2a looks like an MPEG Audio stream.
**ERROR: [mplex] Unrecogniseable file(s)... exiting.

It seems that mplex doesn't understand my video files created my mplayer.

I"m not sure if the problem is mplayer or mplex. I'm using this version of
mplayer,
 mplayer -help
MPlayer 1.0rc2-4.2.3 (C) 2000-2007 MPlayer Team

and this version of mplex, INFO: [mplex] mplex version 1.8.0 (2.2.4 $Date:
2005/08/28 17:50:54 $)
on Ubuntu Hardy 64 bit (also get same error on 32 bit).

Any help is appreciated. This worked when I was using Ubuntu Gutsy with the
same video file.

I also search mplayer and looked at mplex maillist list but didn't find
anything that would help. Is there another option to using either mplayer
to extract the video or mplex?

Thanks,
Andy
