I wanted the "intro" to be played exactly one time when DVD is inserted and never to be played again. This could not be achieved with the <fpc> flag even though, as far as I understand, it is designed for it. What I ended up using is a register variable and putting the "intro" as a separate titleset. (I noticed that commerial DVDs do not seem to use fpc flag either). Then in the vmgm menu, I have a statement in <pre> to check if the register is equal to zero (default). If it is, I go on and play the intro titleset and set the register to 1. In this "intro" titleset, I have a check in <pre> and <post> that if the register is equal to 1, go to the main vmgm entry.
