Hi Charlie, If I want to hide or unhide the dot files I can press F8 to call the set-variable function, then enter dired_show_dot_files, then enter its desired value, 0 or 1.
Because I do this often I thought of assigning F2 to set dired_show_dot_files to 1 and F3 to set it to 0. Is this possible?
