There's no need to _depend_ on iasl for building from a tarball. Just add generation of acpi-dsdt.hex in the `make dist' target, or in autogen.sh, or even both - and ship the resulting file in the tarball. This way, the only place where iasl will be needed is when building from git, or when you changed acpi sources (I assume dependencies for acpi-dsdt.hex are specified correctly). Thanks, /mjt
