Try: qemu-system-x86_64 By default, you use "qemu" which is a 32-bit emulator. I think SVM is available only to 64-bit guests. The 64-bit emulator is named: "qemu-system-x86_64", and don't worry, your CPU will work, despite being 32-bit without SVM. 64-bit part is for guests, not for host.
I'm not sure if your guest OS also needs to be 64-bit, but it better be. -- -Alexey Eremenko "Technologov"
