If I'm reading it right this fixes a regression introduced by
cf081fca + a5b8dd2c,

this fixes a regression introduced by 69ef1f3,

so I don't think they're applicable. I have them all flagged for
2.7.1 though. 2.7.1 will probably go out fairly soon, but I'll try
