rootfs.cpio is the cpio version of rootfs.ext2, both should represent the same filesystem in different serialized formats. I've added it to this updated zip: https://github.com/cirosantilli/linux-kernel-module-cheat/releases/download/test-replay-arm/images2.zip The previous .zip didn't have the .cpio, then I later made Buildroot generate it as well to try out the -initrd method.
