Sure, it's worth experimenting with. libvirt is on top of QEMU. oVirt or OpenStack is on top of libvirt. It's hard for the user or management tools to set low-level tuning options like this. We either need smart defaults or self-tuning - knobs are mostly useful for benchmarking and for a very small number of expert users. Stefan
