There exists some confusion about the term versioning. Some people mean historisation = versioning. In the case of my PostGIS extension versioning is in the sense of concurrent sources editing like CVS, SVN, or GIT. The PostGIS extension manages concurrent editing versions, merges conflicts and so on. This is very helpful for many different purposes and tested in Solothurn. But I'm looking forward to discuss all the PostGIS stuff. Like the table join in Vienna ;-) All the best Horst Am 07.11.2010 18:14, schrieb Paolo Cavallini: > Il 07/11/2010 15:44, Horst Düster ha scritto: >> I hope that pgvs can make your life easier. > > Thanks a lot Horst! > I think we should merge (all/most) database tools in a common framework, otherwise > life will become very difficult for our users (e.g. there is a different versioning > system in the PostGIS manager plugin). > Food for discussion at the hackfest, I guess. > All the best. > -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.10 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org/ iQEcBAEBAgAGBQJM1u/1AAoJEAzYsNg7l8Hsz1AH/0RUN2M9G3AMkj2OfgTVZ2Pn 6vsR9mGfMm6ca1XI1V7sOTZJGVJrd1AjHwJhD+NMFruIQaICdNoZUVYsbbYFI7Xp A1lo1aGc1v1OQkpTemFEcwyXWeTgsrXjoWPr9tRbiUQGkzAM0ylvFFRGnkrrSFQS /a2TqoO+3y9wavKkMwE9AcFuItv3fetQDTToxGJEu2ofzNMMrKhf7SuE+5RD1vHl upZOKwZFlXtkfBbQ5IRo4gOVH+r3seXLjmfZQ3Bho96AL7qWlrXLjhS6qaN6vMuP H6TL+f0ewxlyjEAdQPd/wIae4vZXWvO+/Ci36P3QehFCSEThdPQO03F2Qs8HpRM= =vGgo -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ Qgis-developer mailing list [email protected] http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-developer
