Hi Jude

If you are able to use QGis 1.7 this now can take a geometry column (formatted
as well known text) in a CSV file using the delimited text plugin.

Cheers
Chris

Subject: [Qgis-developer] Loading CSV with geometry field

Hi,
I have a csv file with a geometry column. Quick question is how would this be
loaded using the QGIS API, as a vector layer, given that the CSV delimited text
layer only makes use of x and y co-ordinates?

Please help
