Hi Paolo

For actions which might take a few seconds, I prefer to have 'apply'. E.g. if 
there is a map which takes several seconds to draw, it is more convenient to 
only refresh it on request (or when leaving the dialog). Otherwise, the user 
has to wait too long for every setting that is changed.
