Marco B will correct me if I am wrong but I recall him saying that the installation takes a long time and seems to make the phone appear locked. He was working on a patch to make a progress bar during installation. So try just leaving the phone for a while and see if the install in fact works.
It is not locked, it says the installation failed. Thanks.
