True, it still needs to be applied to master branch (modified to go into the raster menu instead of the option dialog). There is a larger update for the raster terrain module anyway, so hopefully it can be done after that.

I think it would make a good addition.
Of course it will be preferrable to generalize the output, alowing the
user to choose the preferred format. This would be useful also for
existing plugins.
