Subject: QGIS File Paths
Message Body:
Dear Marco,
I have unproblematically installed QGIS on my cyanogen 7.1 Nook Color, with
the only GUI issue being that some of the icons are difficult to access and some of
the submenus are too large for the 7" screen. However (and I recall this from
your video), the file paths are broken and I cannot load any data to test the
program with; my only options when asked to select a file for any of the 'add layer'
functions are /data/data/org.qgis.qgis (unaccessible to me through any of the
directory managers I've used) or a nebulous 'Computer/' which I assume is default
because it cannot read the android file structure. Are there any known workarounds
for this? I am a professional archaeologist and was hoping to use this device in the
field to save on weight - the only functions I really need are import delimited text
layer, interpolate, and extract contours. You have done amazing work so far, and I
am glad the GIS community has you as an asset!
Thanks,
Bryce Davenport
