Hi, for windows, you must enter in environment variables the folder that contains the libraries of grass (i.e. "C:\OSGeo4W\path\to\grasslib")
in linux you must put /usr/local/grass-6.4.2/lib in /etc/ld.so.conf and run ldconfig as root, this is for debian environment! I'm not sure it works in windows! all the best!
