Hi, Same problem on Ubuntu 11.10 both with QGIS 1.7.4 (from packages) and 1.9 (compiled by myself). Plugin version: 0.7.1
Same bug even if de-activating all other plugins. Logs when running from command line: Debug: OpenlayersLayer draw Debug: extent: -1866561.0290235436987132,-445776.2978746853768826 : 2072425.8407358757685870,2051521.8292308524250984 Debug: center: 102932.405856, 802872.765678 Debug: size: 1612, 1022 Debug: logicalDpiX: 88 Debug: outputDpi: 88.000000 Debug: mapUnitsPerPixel: 2443 Debug: olSize: 1612, 1022 Debug: OpenlayersLayer draw Debug: page file: file:////home/user/.qgis/python/plugins/openlayers/html/osm.html Debug: undefined[0]: TypeError: 'null' is not an object I'm not sure the last error is relevant: same message appears for Google layers, which load fine.
