Hi Paolo,

Did not get it at first time, I'll add two digit in front... so it should lead to max 99'999m, should be enough. Intersecting greater distances seems very unlikely!

Yes, I put also this plugin for demo and as a tutorial (also, I have a good update procedure for the drawers...). Glad a few tested it!

Greetings,

Denis

2. OK, I thought a little more about this, and I agree. I'll give one more
digit (4
should be ok, in meter, it's a tenth of a millimeter).
Maybe this could be used in different contexts for wider areas, so tens of km
could
be appropriate?

3. I am working for a water network company.
Basically, drawers are measuring on the field the distance from the network
nodes to
some building corners or whatever. Then they calculate intersection to have a
coordinate for that node. Finally, we keep this info on the map, so if you need
the
node's position when you go back on the field, you just use the same measures
again
to locate the node.

I don't see think this plugin will be widely spread, I just wondered if someone
would
be interested. Glad you tried it!
I think the value of a plugin is not only in what it does, but also in showing
what
can be done, and giving ideas for further developments.

Thanks!
