The plan is to: 1. Load QGIS via QgsApplication 2. Open composition 3. Print composition to .png 4. Use .png in other app The other app is a service that run on the computer in the background and generates maps for search requests that come in, so I can't really use a QGIS plugn because it has to be automated and run in the background. - Nathan
