This is kinda offtopic and probably been talked about elsewhere, but is there any way that qgis-1.7 and qgis-1.8 be installed on the same ubuntu system - using the qgis and/or ubuntugis repositories?
This would be nice to be able to test the nightlies (and compare with 1.7.4) without disrupting the system too much. Osgeo4w has this, and I was wondering if the same could be done for ubuntu/debian/other linuxes.
