Hi! Yes thats also my opinion .. Better not showing info than outdated info which confuses the users .. For my point I'd like to migrate all developer information into the "about" box - keep it updated there (easier to maintain because just one single place) and probably linke to the TRANSLATORS page from the Webpage. We should definitely NOT create too many different places with (more or less) the same information ..
K.I.S.S -> Keep it simple ;) kind regards Werner On Tue, Jan 29, 2013 at 1:26 PM, Paolo Cavallini <[email protected]>wrote: > Il 29/01/2013 13:14, Andreas Neumann ha scritto: > > > > > > I think this is definitely useful information (if the information is > > up-to-date) and should be kept also for a new QGIS webpage. > > yes, that's the point: the info is badly outdated, and I think it always > be so, with our current ratio of newcomers/website cleaners. > IMHO better not to show info, than leaving it outdated. > > all the best. > > -- > Paolo Cavallini - Faunalia > www.faunalia.eu > Full contact details at www.faunalia.eu/pc > Nuovi corsi QGIS e PostGIS: http://www.faunalia.it/calendario > > _______________________________________________ > Qgis-developer mailing list > [email protected] > http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-developer >
