Hi all. Sorry I know little about Windows; I think if possible keeping the possibility of installing without admin rights would be very good. In many corporate environments installing as admin requires lots of complications, so the non-admin install proved an effective tool for QGIS success in these situations. Has this been changed recently? In case, can this be reverted? All the best.

I suggest some short note about this somewhere in website/wiki/trac and then to close the ticket. -- Ticket URL: <http://trac.osgeo.org/osgeo4w/ticket/339#comment:10> OSGeo4W <http://trac.osgeo.org/osgeo4w> OSGeo4W is the Windows installer and package environment for the OSGeo stack. _______________________________________________ osgeo4w-dev mailing list [email protected] http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/osgeo4w-dev _______________________________________________ Qgis-developer mailing list [email protected] http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-developer
