Agustin SEXTANTE now only works on 1.9 (to become 2.0 soon...), but all this discussion is about tools in versions >= 2.0. So those users that work with the stable version will have SEXTANTE in their stable 2.0
I agree with the need of that c++ conversion. Once that is ready, wrapping from SEXTANTE is trivial.
