So "Quantum" should NOT be part of the branding?

I'm not saying either way - but one part of the debate I have not seen 
discussed (missed it?) is whether the brand we want to market is QGIS, Quantum 
GIS or both.

If we can decide on that aspect, deciding on the logo may be easier.

+1 from me too.  This has been the feedback I have had from users and hence the 
reason that I started that comp.

I would like to see something in between the first and the last in #394, I 
mean, I like the look of the first #394 (and #50) but the lower right triangle 
of the Q should be more pronounced (but not as much as in the last #394).
