Or at least adding some instructions on the page for the non-technical among us
about how to install it?

Plugin description is: This plugin is like that Select By Attributes at
ArcMap. But there is a difference with it. This plugin allows joining
two tables at on the fly. so you can create multiple layers query at
running time without creating a joined shape file or feature class
