Ha!!

I'm not sure exactly what is going on. I just set out another email and I can't get this one data layer I've created to calculate correctly. I chalked up the one yesterday to fat fingering the acreage. Today - I've done this quite a bit it's consistently wrong. Linux - it's right. I'm going to reboot. Go for a walk. Come back and try again.

I'm going to do a series of tests to reinforce it's me - I've done some things but I haven't been consistent between platforms.

This cat isn't sneaky but sleeps on my desk....

Hey Randy,

I don't know about your bug, but having sat through some of your TNGIC presentations, I can verify that you are, in fact, crazy...

I've got a parcel base that's in EPSG:2274 and when I calc a comparable field (decimal; width:20; precision:5) using $area/43560, I get a value that is the same as in the calc_acre field for that same parcel (values inserted by the assessor), so it looks like it's working for me. I'm running v2.2 x64 installed with OSGeo4W on Windows 7 SP1.

FYI, cats can be pretty sneaky...
