I am developing a qgis python plugin which uses a maptool receiving key pressed events by keyPressEvent(self, event) function, mouse movements events by canvasMoveEvent(self, event) function and mouse press events by canvasPressEvent(self, event) function. When the user right clicks on the canvas I want to display a contextual menu creating a QMenu object and running its popup function. When the control returns to canvas my maptool continue to receive only mouse movements and mouse press events and NOT key pressed events. Why canvas doesn't send key pressed events anymore ?
