Hi Bernhard. I cannot reproduce my issue and it doesn't seem related to loading.
My project consists of: - No raster - Shapefiles only - Rule based styling - No groups Though our setups are very different, the issues could be related. If I could reproduce the issue, it would be a lot easier to report it. I can see the see the yellow balloon tip informing me of messages added to the message window just before QGIS stops responding. But I can't see the messages since QGIS is not responding.
