You're right Jonathan, If I choose the option « Only search in the metadata table" SRID is correctly displayed. But this is a difference between releases.

For me at least, using 2.2, 2.4, and 2.6, all exhibit the same behaviour with showing SRID's for layers that have geometry. All are correctly showing the SRID as 8607 (Oracle's version of WGS84). Maybe it's your connection options?
