Hi Werner, thanks for help. Further tests, more puzzling results: * contrary to expectations, GRASS v.clean does not lean up the vector * the length in the virtual field appears correct * cleaning up the vector by hand (removing duplicates) does not change the results * the topology checker plugin does not find topo errors, nor duplicates, in both layers (the original and the cleaned up). All the best. - -- Paolo Cavallini - www.faunalia.eu QGIS & PostGIS courses: http://www.faunalia.eu/training.html -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1 iEYEARECAAYFAlSbABYACgkQ/NedwLUzIr5dTACfYH8Y/6euUpmmf/C75kLhjbO9 n4wAn1UD3BoZdrzWCREQKIaDElrMvTOG =8iCd -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ Qgis-developer mailing list [email protected] http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-developer
