Hi,
no, i did not solved it.

However, it does not effected my plugin[1].

The main problem that i had was with QgsPluginLayer. All created
layers needed to be managed in addition to the QgsMapLayerRegistry,
since the Python garbage collector seems to delete layers, even if
they are referenced by the registry.
