I was looking to the new virtual layer function and found a possible bug: Load a shapefile (or a spatialite layer or a postgis layer) make a virtual layer ( select * from layer_name) browsing layers in DBManager ( table, preview) will remove layers from the Layer Panel (crearly an unwanted behaviour) corrupting the project also QGIS will ultimately hang
