Hi all (specifically Jürgen), I'm looking for clarification on the future of the 2.8 branch.... will there be any more point releases for this branch, or given that when 2.16 is released 2.14 will replace the ltr, is 2.8 effectively finished and just history now?
I'm just trying to work out if it's a waste of time backporting stuff to the 2.8 branch now.
