Adding your work back into qgis2web could be terrific. Probably if you contact me via Github (https://github.com/tomchadwin/qgis2web/) it would be best. The only thing I would say is that I am in the middle of implementing Leaflet 1.0.0 in qgis2web, and there is also all the work for QGIS3 to do. All I'm saying is, please be patient.
