agree, but also when a project is already done, and is needed to tune
some properties/options (maybe not even canvas related) that triggers
useless canvas redraws.

is true, but in my training and support experience is not *that*
common. Remove this useful feature just for this reason seems an
overkill to me,

so from a user point of view, and for what it matters, -1
