Hi,

I can only second Matthias' statements! It is a pleasure to work with the QGIS community!

I'd like to add our donors and sponsors to the list. We had a good year in 2017, regarding donations and sponsorships, which helps to run our infrastructure, contribute to developer meetings and hire devs to fix bugs. The 2017 financial report will be published soon, to reflect the previous sentence.

I also really enjoyed the meetings at the Linux hotel and in Nodebo.

Now I am really looking forward to the QGIS 3.0 release - whenever it is going to be released ;-)

Greetings and happy new year!

Andreas
