My bad: going from datum=WGS84 to WebMercator wasn't actually affected by the bug. Only if you go from datum != WGS84 to WebMercator. And there wasn't indeed a test for that later case in GDAL autotest. Now added. -- Spatialys - Geospatial professional services http://www.spatialys.com
