I'm a strong -1. If you'd asked me last week, I'd have been a strong +1... but then I attended a conference where a workflow using evis was demonstrated which revealed that there's a significant number of users of this plugin still. There's actually not that much missing from core which the plugin offers. I think before we strip it out, we should ensure that its workflow can be completely reproduced in core, or via a small python plugin distributed via the normal channels.
