Hi all, just stepping in into this discussion. While we were (and still are) updating the pyqgs cookbook, we found that there is a relevant missing part on how to write test for the plugins in our documentation [0]
I know that for a developer this is not the funniest part, but is someone is willing to add a part on this it would be really glad to add this section.
