1) I dont think the Lutra packages bundle in QtDesigner (I searched the app folder for it but dont see it) 2) I tested the bundle from the link you provided and it loads / runs fine Note that the bundle you are pointing students to won’t have the QGIS designer plugins set up and I am not sure if / how to get the QGIS native widgets to show in designer. Otherwise I guess it is going to work fine.
