Hi Yann We are tallking about going towards official docker for desktop use here : https://github.com/qgis/QGIS-Enhancement-Proposals/issues/142
It might be an option, I have all my QGIS versions running with this option on Ubuntu, just because running different versions at the same time is a pain in Linux. We do this frequently for production uses with QGIS server, and it seems to be working with Desktop, though we still need to test and document it thoroughly. Of course other container options are here (flapak, snap, conda) and I just can't give any advice on these other options as I don't use them. The other option is to support (in the long term) someone to package QGIS for Suse.
