Hi there,
Following this work, Benjamin Jakimow (developer of the ENMap-Box) and I
worked on a plugin that introduces a resource browser right into QGIS:
* plugin page <https://plugins.qgis.org/plugins/pyqgis_resource_browser/>
* source code <https://github.com/Guts/qgis-plugin-resource-browser>
The logic is mainly an extraction of the resource browser that already
existed in dev tools of ENMap-Box

dropped into a boilerplate generated from the QGIS Plugin Templater
