Nick's explanations are correct, but I already understood that part. That's how we handle it, too. By the way, the request came from one of my users. And why does he import a CSV? Well, because he likes to do everything in his favorite GIS without using other software, and his favorite GIS can actually be a good CSV editor under certain circumstances ;-) THX, mikeE.
