I would also be in favor on given up auto-merge to avoid blocking approved pull requests with unrelated test failures.
At least, until we manage to strengthen our CI. I don't mind to ping you or anyone else once in a while but I don't want to have to do it every time. And at the moment the CI is very often broken.
