I am using QGIS version 0.9.1 on Ubuntu Gutsy and I am working with a
GRASS vector layer and a sqlite DB. The attribute table view in QGIS
seems to be displaying records, which were deleted from the table. QGIS
reports a total number of records greater than db.select issued through
GRASS and a number of cats are repeated in the QGIS attribute table (the
cat values should be unique).

I've made some progress with this and can confirm that QGIS is not at
fault! It's my data that's a mess.
