I was finally able to make an R script to create approximate jpgw and shp files of the (dozens of) images acquired by the uav, so that I can display a vector layer with the boundaries of all raster layers, and each raster layer at its (approximate)
position and orientation. The vector layer has a table including
the name of the raster and other geometric and quality info. I've
put an screen capture at http://sites.google.com/site/eospansite/qgis-action

Now I would like to be able of clicking on a given centroid of the vector layer, i.e. 181, and get that layer automatically displayed in QGIS (note that the required jpgw file exists). Can this be done by executing an script through the Properties/Actions menu? Could anyone provide an example
and/or some guiding on how to do it?

Thanks!

Agus
