Hi all,
Actually, I am having some trouble with the Vector Grid tool from
Carson's plugins.
First, If I use the default "Input Boundary Layer" a grid is created,
but if I try to choose Min-Max X Y values I get an error:
I am aware of this bug, and will fix it tonight in svn. Also, as per
Agus' suggestion, I will have the min/max x/y values updated in the
dialog when a layer is selected in the drop-down list, that way manual
adjustments can be made to the x/y input values...
Secondly, in the Parameters field when I choose the spacing between
grid lines, it allows a max of 1000. In any CRS with a unit of meters
that means a maximum grid spacing of 1 km. Often that's too many lines...
This can easily be remedied, and I'll fix this tonight in svn as well.
