Hi, interesting idea, as far as I know there are no plugins that can do that yet.
However, if you have something to reference you source map to, than you can use usual georeferencing approach. Simply in this case, you'll have to collect GCPs from source map to georeferenced map, but not enter the known coordinates directly. This will be less interactive equivalent of "freehand" approach. Maxim MG> Have got some raster maps. But there are no points with known MG> coordinates on this maps. I want to do some "georeferencing" for this MG> rasters, and only way to do it, is to move/scale/rotate as long, as they MG> didn't fit to the other maps with known coordinates. Just something like MG> "freehand georeferencing". I know that there is lack of accuracy, but in MG> some cases this is better that none. So, anybody works on something that MG> can do it? Plugin?
