Hello, I have been using the standalone and the framework version by William Kyngesburye (never thaks enough!) for two days. Unfortunately I've had some problems with:
* Spatialite databases: there are still issues from version 1.2 that didn't show on version 1.1. These are probably due to the same problems with GDAL 1.6 that were cited in the GDAL mailing list: even the demo data for Spatialite are not recognized as such, but as a standard SQLite database layers (by the way, the new dialog to choose the datasource is useful, but it would be better not to activate the "Open" button if no datasource is selected); * Print composer: PDF export does not honour paper size selection: it uses A4 despite selecting A3 or A5 or legal; * There are still issues with WMS (since 1.1): no exceptions or error messages are shown. The WMS subsystem is not working well with MapServer, expecially with servers which enforce the 1024*1024 size limit. This is the case with http://wms.pcn.minambiente.it/cgi-bin/mapserv.exe?map=/ms_ogc/service/ortofoto_colore_06_f32.map About the frameworks, some utilities are not compiled in, such as gdalbuildvrt, necessary to use the Build VTR plugin (to solve the intrinsical problem with the above server).
