Ok, solved in the same way. Thanks! I noticed that the problem is the gdal-python library I installed to play with Image Clipper and Image Cutter... With this library I have the "raster problems", without it no problems.
Someone understands if it is a bug of this library? ciao Ale ----Messaggio originale---- Da: [email protected] Data: 29/10/2009 11.19 A: "[email protected]"<[email protected]> Cc: <[email protected]> Ogg: Re: [Qgis-user] problems with opening raster files Hi Alessandro. I had the same issue. I don't know what caused it but a fresh install (with gdal16 and qgis 1.4.x) of the whole stack solved it. Not an elegant solution, but it works :)giovanni 2009/10/29 [email protected] <[email protected]> Hi all, I encountered a problem with QGIS installed from osgeo4w, Windows XP. I can't open any raster (I tried with geotiff, asc, ESRI adf...) and the message is always: xxx "is not a supported raster data source". The only option i have in the dropdown list in the "Open a GDAL Supported Raster Data Source" window is "Grass and all other files (*)". This happens with QGIS 1.4.0 trunk, as with 1.1.0 and 1.0.2. I think that this problem could be related to the installed gdal library (gdal 1.5.4-4), but really I don't know... Suggestions? thanks Ale _______________________________________________ Qgis-user mailing list [email protected] http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-user
