Greetings,

Qgis version 1.4 & up to 1.5 from Osgeow on winXP sp2.

Problem description:

Open a project and then open the overview window (empty), add a raster on the overview and to the main window. Zoom in into the raster in the main window. Overview shows full raster extent and the zoomed rectangle. All fine up to here.

A) Now click on the overview to select it. Press the space bar and, surprise, the overview shows the zoomed raster. In other word the overview has become a dumb replica of the main window.

B) Restart project and instead of (A) above click on the main window to select it. Press the space bar and the raster suddenly zoom out to the same size it has in the overview window. What is disturbing is that if another layer is also displayed in the main window this layer is keeping its zoom state!

Can someone confirm this behaviour, is it a known problem? Is there a workaround (but to not use the space bar)?

I've started to notice the behaviour from version 1.4 up to the latest trunk I'm using (downloaded yesterday).

Regards,
Benoit
